About Me

I was born and grew up in Cornwall, but have now lived in Capel St Mary for 39 years. I studied geography at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. From there, I went straight into the graduate training scheme at Ford Motor Company in Brentwood, studied further, and became a marketing specialist, eventually working in Ford of Europe. After a brief spell in the Midlands the family came to Suffolk. My husband, a Master Brewer, worked for Tolly Cobbold. As our two daughters progressed through the local primary and secondary schools, I began a new career teaching in Higher Education.
